Hello,

Im having some trouble with retrieving thumbs for movies with multiple folders, like CD1, CD2, etc.

Example on a typical movie would be:

Movieshare on server
Movie.Name.Folder
-> CD1
-> .rar files containing video for CD1
-> CD2
-> .rar files containing video for CD2

When i press "Movie Information" on the Movie.Name.Folder i get "No video files found in this path!" (Witch i aparently get for all my movies, even tough xbmc has found a thumbnail for it or not)

When setting content for a folder, ive tried using "Use Folder Names For Lookups" and "Scan Recursively" but it doesnt seem to detect anything.

Would the only solution be to unpack all movies? Or is there another way for doing this?

Thumb/Movie info grabbing works perfectly for all movies containing the .rar files directly in the root folder of the movie name.

Anyone had similar issues? :confused2:

As very satisfied long time XBMC user perhaps someone nows a trick for this one. I also (linux) VDR a lot and the combination of both is almost perfect. However VDR records TV as follows. DIR1=NameofTVprogram/DIR2=Recorderded20102007/Filename=001.vdr 002.vdr etc. So even with option "make folder transparant" XBMC keeps complaining if I use DIR1=NameofTVprogram that there are no movie files in the directory. Ofcourse this is normal behaviour but if someone nows a trick for this I would like more than happy to know. The way I have to do it now is to select /Dir1/Dir2/001.vdr select movie information, wait till IMDB comes with movienames with "001" inside select manual rename 001.vdr to moviename and search in IMDB again. It works but it is somehow a little annoying to do this for every recorded movie or TV program. (XBMC Rulezzz) Regards, Peter
