Hey folks,
wasn't sure if my earlier post was spotted so thought i'd create a new topic to report this:
powerflv appears to have changed it's site layout a wee bit. Consequently the plugin has stopped working.
Looks like it's only the directory level stuff that's changed and the final links are still the same....
still it's been the loss of a great resource. :-/

Just posting to bump this back up so that it's visible again and beg anyone who is able to do the modifications required for their help by fixing this awesome plugin.
The website doesn't appear to have changed much. It looks like the final knuts and bolts of it are still the same. Basically all it looks like they've changed are how the categories are displayed (i.e. documentories, tv shows, movies etc. now all on the same page as the show names though different font format) and the show names (which now appear in a different font format from the categories but on the same page).

this would be an awesome update, I will help as much as possible will post update soon as possible.
I am new to XBMC & python. Have been using plugins from this site and thought I would
contribute at least a little. Hence, here is my attempt to fix the plugin with the little
python knowledge I have and it seems to work on my xbox (T3CH Oct. 21st build).
I have uploaded modified plugin as a tgz file at rapidshare.

Would appreciate if someone who can get google videos to work using any script including
this script let me know if they do something special in their configuration settings. When I click
on a google video link using the powerFLV plugin or any script for that matter, it just hangs there. This happens even if I use explicitly use the MPlayer core.

Thanks, just grabbed it looks to be working great. The wife and kids will be glad to see this. They were pretty upset when it stopped working.

The tgz file is compressed you have to extract it with a program like 7-Zip (http://www.7-zip.org/). Then ftp it over to your xbox to the Q:/plugins/video folder.
Yes, I have done this. I have a default.py and default.tbn in a folder - Q:\plugins\video\Pflv\
When i click on the py nothing happens. Am I missing something?

Is there a way to save a show directly to the xbox? (I remember when using tv-links there was the ability to save.)

Just updated xbmc im now running the newest build and ive replaced the files in the q plugins directory still getting .divx files no actual file name hopefully someone can tell me what im doing wrong to fix this problem. TIA

Never mind guys i fixed the problem, guess I was unzipping the files wrong. Its great to have this site back i missed the documentaries....its great to have them back thanks for all your hard work

I added the updated plugin to my xbox plugin downloads page and the plugin all in one package. I hope that's okay as it gives people a convenient download method...It's not on a free hosting service!

Many thanks for this work, Unbehagen. The only problem I had with your compilation is that I couldn't really tell which of the plugins had been updated since the last time I downloaded it.
Maybe nuka's svn solution will help with this.

Yep, dead for me too. I got all excited after seeing how much content that site has, so this was really disappointing! I have experience with several programming languages, but I've never used Python. I may try my hand at reviving this script.

one thing i've noted, a great deal of the content works for me, I prefer documentaries myself...the content will just stop after a period of time this also happens with some stuff in navi-x are my cache settings what could be causing this "cut off"? any who great work on the update to the plugin
