No graphics in XBMC interface, just black background and white text

Greetings,

Since I was running a practically ancient version of XBMC I decided to upgrade today.

I got me a copy of XBMC 2.0 (GasGiver 22.Aug.2007 to be exact), backed up my old installation of XBMC, removed it from the Xbox and then uploaded the new XBMC to my Xbox.

XBMC starts fine and may very well work, with one HUGE problem though. There are no graphics anywhere. Just a black background and white text. I can't even see the cursor so I have no real way of knowing where I am in the menus and such. There are two skins installed as far as I can see (Project Mayhem III Skin + MC360 skin) but both behave the same way, no graphics.

I have seen comments concerning this version of XBMC 2.0 from people that got it from the same place I did and they're all claiming that it works perfectly, which makes me even more confused.

Does anybody know why it is behaving like this and how I can fix it? In the meantime I'll just go back to using my pre-dinosaur era XBMC :sniffle:

Check your debug log for a start.

It could be as simple as missing textures (Textures.xpr) or it may be more involved.

Thanks a million. Indeed, Textures.xpr was missing. Now it's there and I can see the entire GUI in all its glory :grin:
