Album pictures not

Hi,

In biblio mode for music, the pictures of the albums are not displayed if the album is a compilation. It's OK for all the albums and not OK for all the compilations.

Is-it possible to corrected this problem ?

There is no problem here at least.

You are going to have to be far more specific.

For exemple, in music menu in XBMC :
1 : choose "Library mode"
2 : choose "Albums" entry
3 : choose "View: Album" or "View: 3DList"
4 : choose "Sort by: Artist"
My albums contains artist's albums and compilation's albums with covers in a tag for all my music tracks. The problem is for all my compilation's albums, the cover is not displayed in XBMC. For the others albums (artist's albums), the cover is correctly displayed.

Have you placed a 'folder.jpg' image in the compilation folder? That works for me.

I have a SMB link between the xbox and the PC on my iTunes Library. So, you say, that I must put a jpg image with the name 'folder.jpg' in the folder compilations of iTunes on my PC ?
Can I put any image in this folder, just named 'folder.jpg' ?

OK, If I add a "folder.jpg" image in each folder of my compilations albums, that works. But I have a lot of compilations and the the tag of the cover is filled for all my tracks (tracks of compilation album and tracks of artist album). So I would like that the cover (saved in a tag in my all compilation tracks) is used by XBMC for display covers. I dont' understand why for album tracks the cover is displayed by XBMC and not displayed for compilation tracks.
It's a bug, no ?

It depends on the tags. XBMC caches thumbs based on artist and album. If the artist or album info is missing, it'll cache it based on path.

If you are 100% sure that something is not working that should, then simplify the situation by having just 2 tracks involved from the same compilation album and make sure that doesn't work still (I presume they're in the same folder?)

Then provide the tracks and someone (likely me) will take a look.

So, I'm sure that album, artist, flag "Part of a compilation" and image cover is saved in each file of my M4A tracks.
All the tracks for each compilation have the same cover and are in the same folder.

My library on my PC is organised like this :

In XBMC (2007-09-02 version and others versions), when "Library Mode" is not activated :
- Album artist : OK (the cover is displayed)
- Tracks of Album artist : OK
- Album compilation : KO (the cover is not displayed)
- Tracks of Album compilation : OK

In XBMC, when "Library Mode" is activated :
- Album artist : OK (the cover is displayed)
- Tracks of Album artist : OK
- Album compilation : KO (the cover is not displayed)
- Tracks of Album compilation : KO
