Hey guys, I don't know if anyone is familiar with msn plus! live, but those who are will recall that it has a scripting feature.
I was browsing through these scripts the other day when i noticed these two scripts
MSN to XBMC 1.3 (http://www.msgpluslive.net/scripts/view/286-MSN-to-XBMC/)(http://www.msgpluslive.net/scripts/view/286-MSN-to-XBMC/)
XBMC Now Playing 1.0 (http://www.msgpluslive.net/scripts/view/297-XBMC-Now-Playing/)(http://www.msgpluslive.net/scripts/view/297-XBMC-Now-Playing/)
These scripts use http to send and recieve data to and from the XBMC using it's Web Server.
This lead me to wonder whether it would be possible to have a script that enables you to use msn off the xbox. You would not need to run msn off XBMC, but rather have it communicate with msn running on a computer within the local network.:oo:
For this to work there would probably have to be two scripts, one for XBMC and one for windows live! messenger. For those wondering, windows live! messenger uses JScript I think.:sniffle:
Thankyou in advance for any help.
ps. I have never created a fully functional script in any language that was more than about 20 lines long:eek: so please don't ask me for any advice:laugh:
also sorry if this is old news:blush:
