I have my XBMC connected to my Windows Vista computer (after a lot of reading and eventually just upgrading to the latest T3CH build [XBMC-SVN_2007-05-20_rev9030-T3CH I think]). The question I have is how can I hardcode my username and password for the connection so that I don't have to enter it every time. It's very weird because when I browse "Videos", I never get prompted for a username/password, but I always do when I browser "Music". I know I messed around in the config files trying to do this once, but I can't remember which file or how I did it. How do I hardcode for all of the different types of media? It seems odd that I would have to change it in multiple spots...

:confused2:

the simple answer is to go to network settings and add your user/pass as the default user/pass for smb connections.

You rock, I don't know why my dumb ass didn't even think to look there. Thanks.
