Hi, Noob here. Since updating to XBMC SVN 2007-04-15 (15th of April 2007) rev8519 and now the most current version XBMC SVN 2007-04-20 (20th of April 2007) rev8582 MIDI edition, whenever I view live stream it lags ( movement moves very slowly) But when I swap the mplayer with the one provided before these builds, it works perfectly. While I dont mind using the older version, I do like the idea of the updated codecs with the current version. I have no problem watching videos, just streaming video. Anyone else experienced this problem?

The de gouden kooi ( dutch big brother ) does.. sorry I dont have the url handy, but its in the scripts downloads. Since posting, I have been testing back and forth between the older and newer mplayer. Seems that the codecs from the newer mplayer works fine, the mplayer.dll is causing the lag. Im just asking if someone can do me a favor and test if the lag is happening with anyone else so I would know its just not my machine. Everything else is working great with the new build.. keep up the great work...

This is the url to the de gouden kooi, but I had other lagging problems with other live streaming with the most recent mplayer.dll. Again, with the older mplayer from couple of builds back, it worked fine

Elupus,

I just updated the mplayer.dll with the one you posted in the "Incorrect time codes when playing mpeg2 transport streams" thread. Everything is running perfect. Thanks for hard work.

Haha, actually I spoke to soon. The feed in my last post is working great, but I was viewing couple of live streams and they were lagging abit. I'll just live with it. Thanks again

The live streams is still lagging ( movements going in slow motion ) with the most current build. I am still using the mplayer dll from XBMC SVN 2007-04-08 (8th of April 2007) rev8443 as that seems like the last mplayer dll that seems to work fine.
