I can't seem to get the FTP to work on my xbmc (below is info on my setup and my root problem). It is showing a user of "NONE" on the FTP server screen. I'm wanting to upgrade to address the DST issue below. I saw mention of a "filezilla server.xml" in another post for v2.0 but can't find the file in my version (I'm trying to upgrade from 1.1.0).
I've managed to boot to UnleashX (through the file explorer), I couldn't see the FTP settings in there on a quick look and booted to Xebian.
In Xebian I have managed to SSH into the xbox. But quick look can't find anything much worthwhile to modify or move.
What I need are methods on how to either fix the XBox FTP in 1.1.0, or to get some method of file transfer to put the upgrade on using UnleashX or Xebian?
Thanks for all your help,

I'm having a problem getting my xbmc to play my MythTV files. It will play some and not others based on the timezone I'm in, so I'm guessing it is a DST issue (thank you Federal Govt.)
Here's what I'm running:
XBMC: 1.1.0 compile 7/17/06 T3CH
Kernel: 1.0.4817.1
XBMC Mythtv: .18.2 - (not 100% sure on this version)
KnoppMyth: R5A16 - Tempura - release 5/28/05
MythTV: .18.1.20050510-1
Timezone where I live: Central and acknowledges DST
I've patched my MythTV box for DST.
The issue:
With Internet time synch off on XBMC, and set to CENTRAL on the XBox dashboard I can watch the shows recorded BEFORE the DST switch, and the time shown on screen is correct. What I mean by watch the shows in this case is that I can select a show recorded on 2/10/07 and I get the screen snapshot from the backend and can watch it; select a show recorded on 3/12/07 and I get a message about being unable to get the screen snapshot, and the show can't be viewed. With it set to EASTERN it will watch the shows recorded AFTER the DST switch and the time is an hour ahead. The XBox DST on/off has no impact on this.
Using Internet time synch (server 70.85.188.218 - same as the NTP setup on my MythTV box) set CENTRAL the time is an hour behind and I can watch shows recorded BEFORE the DST switch. EASTERN gives me the right time, and I can only watch the shows recorded AFTER the DST switch.
