Hello,
first i want to thx developers to make us really nice product , XBMC make our xbox the best mediabox around. I know people buying Xbox only for XBMC..

some times ago i discovered the library thing, never used it before..it's a great feature but there is something i don't like , but perhaps there is a way to make it possible, when you scan for movie or tv show, if it dont find your movie or tv show on the selected web site, these ones will not be displayed in the library, so when you have a lot of files, it's hard to see which one are in the library and which one are not in the library.. even for me i'll preferer to see all files in the library even with a "?" as icon but like this i'll be sure to be able to see all my movie or TvShow ..

hope your understand what i mean..so there is a way to do that ? have all files in library .. ?

take care.

okay, i have a bit more time now.

while it wont cover your issue, you do know that you can use nfo files to force those that has no info to be added to the library.
for foo.avi stick foo.nfo with the imdb url in it. or you can even input the info manually (search around the forums for clues, or export your videodb look at the resulting xml).

this currently only works for movies but tvshows will work as well eventually.

I think what he is saying is that he has soo many movies/tv shows that it's hard to know which files are in the library and which are not. Would there be someway of generating a list of files where no information was found? for those with large collections.

thx spiff for the nfo thing, this can help, yes.

gzusrawx you right, would be cool to know wich file is in DB and which one is not. a different icon in the files list could help for example.
but i understand that it's a hard work to do that..and i'm not able to do it.
