ok. Say you have a playlist saved with files that link to a smb share. However, because the OS was reinstalled, the share is no longer valid. When you go to play the playlist, you're prompted for the password for the invalid share. But when you cancel, it goes to the next file in the playlist, and asks for a password again. And so on until the playlist is finished.

Say you had a very large playlist. That would be very, very tedious.

I want to file a bug report on SourceForge.

Is this a feature or a bug?

Hmm.. I think XBMC is correct, because you just cancel the first file and then XBMC goes to the next file, and so on..

But you are right, would be more convenient if the parsing of that playlist would be completely canceled when you cancel that file which points to the wrong share..
Or perhaps XBMC could just cancel all files which point to the "wrong" share and move to the next files in the playlist which are valid .. !?
