how do i connect XBMC to my computer

You need a Crossover cable and a network card in your PC. You can then connect the xbox to your PC and FTP to your hearts content.

i mean i can see my xbox from my computer i just cant figure out how to see my computer from my xbox.

ok i have figured out how to create a bookmark. but i dont know what to put in it to make it connect to my computer. I have this program called ccX Stream server and it tells me what ip address the server is running but i tried to put that ip in the bookmark like

<bookmark>
<name>share$</name>
<path>ftp://***.***.*.***</path>
</bookmark>

and it didnt work. does anybody know what im doing wrong? and if you have aim or msn please send me a message and try to help me out at k2inlinesk8ter for aim and k2inlinesk8ter@hotmail.com for msn. please i could really use some help.

thanks anyway for the help but after hours of playing with it and many different sites reading pages and pages of info i finally have it and im very happy with how XBMC works with file transfer from pc to xbox.
