View Full Version : DVD Autostart and "Games" Menu?
hello!
i tested a few releases of xbmc and the worked very well.
i use xbmc as my default dashboad.
but i miss two features now.
- it would be fine, if xbmc could start dvd`s automaticly
- the menu "my games" would be easier, then click through "explorer", to start xbox games.
are these features planned?

both are already implemented, however there no dedicated "my games" per say, just rename "my programs" in strings.xml
sure, but it would be easier, like in evox, to have list with my games easily.
my xbox is used by my childrens too and they can`t jump around in the menues to find the games.
you don't need to.
just set the bookmarks properly in the xboxmediacenter.xml such that your bookmark points to your games dir, such as f:\games.
and then set the <default> tag to point to f:\games\ as well.
then goto settings->programs and check both those options.
i'm actually now thinking of making those two options to be checked by default.
when you check both those options, xbmc will behave just like a dash.

i actually made those options on by default yesterday :)
it's now in cvs.
