LCD's and mod chips, any difference

i see all the threads for lcds, but i have a question which isn't answered anywhere.

is lcd support for all mod chips universal within xbmc or does one handle the information better than the others?

the info you get on a smartxx and a xenium lcd are quite the same. dunno about other chips (if there are any with lcd).

moving to xbox general as question is not xbmc specific. answer is no, currently only smartxx and xenium have lcd interface/connectors.
