View Full Version : Music Tracks random - how to stop it?
I have done searches, and am probably just not using the correct terms. I recently upgraded to the latest XBMC, and it is great. I am having one problem, however. In the My Music section, when I browse to one of my Network (SMB) shares, and open a folder that has all the tracks of an album in order, it seems to be set to shuffle. I did not do this on purpose, and can't figure out where to to turn this off! I just want it to play the tracks in order. Any help would be appreciated.
my guess;
you have modified the sort order. mind the left hand menu
I see View, Sort By, and Library mode on the lsft side. I have it sorted by name...and the list on the main pane is sorted in the order I want to listen to. I am not in library mode. Once I begin playing on track one, it won't just go down the list. It instead appears to skip randomly through the tracks.
okay, then open the now playing window and make sure shuffle isnt enabled.
So I guess I am an idiot, because I can't find the now playing window..Please laugh at me and then help? :grin:

Press white while something is playing (or queued)
Ok...thanks! I see the issue now. I am using a Universal remote control, and need to figure out where the controller buttons map to on the remote. But I DID have the playlist set to shuffle, which I turned off, so thank you very much everyone!
