XBMC times out frequently when connected to Internet or ftp

I updated my XBMC to 2.01

When I ping the IP from my own pc, it times out.
When I start shoutcast for instance (or some application that requires network or inet connection), the Xbox gives me a reply for 20 times. Then it times out again for say 30 seconds and it reply's again.

It looks like xbmc only connects to network when an application asks for it. But doesnt stay connected... :(

Even connect to ftp is very hard. Times out frequently.
Any help is welcome.

I'm running 2.01 via DHCP with no problems here.

Are you certain the problem lies with your xbox? Tried pinging your router or other pc on the LAN to see if the problem duplicates? Tried rebooting your router? Does the problem persist with either static or dhcp assignment?

I think the problem doesnt concerns my xbox.
When I connect to my xbox straight through full duplex cable, I can ping the Xbox no problem.
Using DHCP, but tried static too.

Guess I just reinstall a complete new xbmc. Never had any problems with my network before.
