Hello everyone,

I have one pc with all my videos sharing all the goodies with two independent xboxes. Now, if I start a movie on one xbox, stop it and start it again, it will begin from the last point.
Is there a way I can achieve the same feature between the 2 xboxes, as in:
I start a movie from one xbox and stop it, then I go to the other box and start from the point where I left the first ?
Or, another way of putting this, can this info be shared, either on the xbox or on the file server ?
thanks !

Technically, it is possible, but Xbmc provides no means of automating it. All you need to do is copy the contents of the UserData folder between Xbox's. The files MUST be on the local xbox hard drive. They cannot be accessed remotely.

Maybe implementing a server to store this kind of data at the PC and config XBMC to access to it, i suposse... Unluckyli i though surfing at the XBox dirs would be a little slow if XBMC has to access PC all the time, but it's an idea...

By all means, please do so.

Or keep a XBMC settings xmlfile by the movie if there is write access on the share (kind of like Picasa2 does with pictures)
Stuff like subtitle and bookmarks and the stop/restart point could be saved to this file and shared among the house. Far more easy than to create a whole server for it and would work with NAS'es too...
