Please help me!crazy network!

I have a a crossover cable between my pc and my xbox. i have an usb modem. if i deactivate de xbox connection, the internet will work, and if i deactivate the internet my xbox link will work. but if i put them together i have a xbox link but no internet link. please help me i need them both working at the same time. i looked for other similar thread but couldnt find nothing.

cant anybody help me. i have checked the ips and its not that.when i turn the xbox connection the internet connection simply goes down.

it sounds like you need to enable internet connecton sharing.

more details: what ips are you using how have you got it setup?
