I have a massive list of albums / songs that takes literally 3 minutes or more to scroll from top to bottom with the DVD Remote. I've set my <remoterepeat> tag to an efficient value in AdvancedSettings.xml but I desperately need to find a way to change the overall scroll speed. Is this achievable? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
you cant change the scroll speed but you can scroll faster using pageup and pagedown, instead of up and down. open up userdata/keymap.xml. you'll see those functions mapped to the pageplus and pageminus buttons by default (only found on the MCE remote) but you can also map them to one and seven.

Thanks for the info. Hopefully this feature gets implemented at some point in time just as you used to be able to change the scroll speed for the triggers on the gamepad.
sorry but that will probably never happen.
