i have my movies showing as icons so it shows the thumb nails from imdb so i was thinking of maybe a feature that can let you hide the extensions like when i look at my movies it will show there extensions like .avi etc... so a feature to make it hide the extension i think would be great as then you would just see the thumbnails from imdb and the name under it and not the extention as well. also another would be where could be a feature where you can keep big icons in one place but "list view" in the other because sometimes there is only some certain area you want to show as big icons
switch view -> movies
only problem is then it shows all your movies not just those in a certain directory.

i already have it in movies but that doesn't take the extentions away and still shows the big back folder icon
my fault, i meant switch view -> title then the back folder is gone and the imdb titles are shown

thats pretty cool but "stack" doesn't seem to work and i see covers twice and like you said shows other media as well and covers of movies i don't have lol
stacking does work in 'title' view. if you have a movie showing up twice then it's properly in the database twice for some reason, you can delete the database entry for movies that don't exist by pressing '0' on the remote.
you can remove the movies you don't have and duplicates by pressing 0 on the remote or black (i think?) on the controller but you're right it's not the ideal solution.
i only use the movie view because that way i can navigate through my folders (unseen, series, archive) and it only shows the files in that particulary folder but i actually like the title view better because it shows the imdb titles.

ok there i got rid of the unwanted and movies showing i didnt have everything looks good now! only thing i notice (which really doesn't bother me) is that wether i hit the stack button it will always say "stack" never says unstack just stays at stack but thanks for the tips guys greatly appreciated!
