As can be seen on various threads, including this one: http://xbmc.org/forum/showthread.php?t=20922&highlight=video+database , having a large video db has caused some issues in the past. I've noticed that most of the problems have dissapeared over the last few months. The initial stall/stutter on playback of a video is now barely noticable. But now when I exit a video, it goes through about 3 or 4 seconds of stuttering before it quits.
I believe this is because it's saving it's resume point in the db. Does that sound like the culprit? If so, is it possible, or will it ever be possible, to disable saving of resume positions?
