Adding Genres to Party Mode.

I love party mode but I have a wide taste in music and If I'm having a wine tasting party. I'd like to play from my Jazz or Classical (not Rock or Techno) directories and if I'm having a New Years Party then I'd like more upbeat music not Jazz songs & Classical.

If there's a way to choose the Genres that would be great!

Yes, there is.

You can make a smart playlist to just grab songs from a particular genre (or set of genres). The online manual has examples.

I suggest making a smart playlist, viewing said smart playlist to check the selection (it will show all songs that match the conditions you put on it).

Once you have it as you want, copy the playlist as "PartyMode.xml" to UserData/ and away you go.
