Shoutcast Authentication

trying to play shoutcast streams which are password protected (digitally imported fm).

it uses the simple http://usr:pass@ip.address system but it appears its not supported in xbmc? am i doing something wrong?

always says authentication failed. password free streams are fine and the passworded ones are fine thru winamp.

moving to "feature suggestions" since playback of password protected shoutcast streams is not possible as of yet.
