irc ban

Hi,
I've been banned from the irc channel for no reason.
This is the second time it happens...
After a few months I haven't entered the irc channel, I tried to enter but I got instant ban saying :
"You were kicked from #xbmc by pike (banned: spamwh0res)"

Why is that?

because for a long while we had only spambots from Israel, I will remove this ban now

Anyhow, is there a way to prevent me getting ban if the spambots return?
