XBMC will not load on real debug / XDK launcher

Burned to a dvd-r, and the XBMC icon shows up on my XBE list in the XDK launcher. I select it, I get the "Xbox - Microsoft" 'loading screen', then after about 1 second it spits me back out to the XDK launcher with the error:

"An error occurred loading an Xbox executable"

Would this be due to how the XBE is signed (or not signed as the case may be...?)?

I'm fairly a n00b as iv'e just gotten the debug unit, will the XDK not launch homebrew XBE's?

first of all, launching xbmc from dvd isn't really supported. doubt it works at all. xbmc should normally run just fine from xdk launcher thou.
