newbie help

i have just recently purchased an xbox with a 120gig hard drive and media center on it. i have no idea how to use it. how do you connect to p.c to transfer files on to xbox and what other cool stuff can you do with it. i want to be able to watch all formatts of video and play music on it.
please help the newbie :kickass:
