Why won't my share lock work?

i added the following right under my smb bookmark:

<lockmode>1</lockmode> <lockcode>f3173935ed8ac4bf073c1bcd63171f8a</lockcode>

i used md5 hash to get this password for the one i entered.
i also tried just entering my password normally, what's wrong?

do i have to enable masterlock?

great! just tried turning on masterlock and it works great, alot more control for what's locked in the latest builds!!
