the added feature of 'launch in...' pal60/ntsc-j etc etc for games and applications is great, but would also be great for movies, as there are many movies i have that are ntsc and xbmc doesnt detect that - and plays them in pal50 mode (even when pal60 is enabled)

also attached to this there are a couple of bugs, for example when running something in pal60 when pal60 is not switched on in msdash the xbox crashes, and visa versa when running some emulators in 'pal' when pal60 is enabled, then it still runs pal60 and not pal50 ... so a 'launch pal50 would be better, rather than pal60 and 'pal' i think ?

thanks to the coders for your time..

1. xbmc uses the framerate of the movie to switch. i have never once seen a movie that it does not switch correctly for (the only thing i can think of is that the framerate is reported incorrectly).

2. the pal60 stuff *should* be disabled completely in xbmc if it is not enabled in the ms dash.

if this is not the case, then check the debug log on boot - it will say which modes are detected. hold down x+y on boot to run in debug mode.
