hi, when upgrading i usually just trash my xbmc folder and copy the new folder over all via ftp, in the last little while when i try to delete the xbmc folder it will delete everything in it but i get an error at the end and it won't delete the folder, i then try again to delete the folder and get an error again. the error says, "can't delete directory, directory not empty", when i open the folder it is empty though.

lately my xvids haven't been playing via smb all of sudden with no settings changes, i have another xbox and it will play them all fine with the exact same settings.

so i really want to start from scratch on the other xbox, flushing things out.

i had the same problem, was using ftp commander, i switched to
flashfxp and it deleted them no probs.

just try a different ftp client and it should work

or try launching another dashboard with ftp access.
then delete the xbmc folder.
