sollie,

you are my saviour.

as i am new to the scene (you had guessed right :) ) i feel obliged to bother you a little more and ask you if the following reasoning is correct.

i have booted from your provided cd, now i am going to ftp xbmc folder to c:\apps\ and everything should be ok. is this correct?

thanks again

some questions,

- do you have a chip, wich one?
- do you wanne use xbmc as default dasboard?
- wich dashboard is default right now?
- how big is your harddrive?

wow! thats a pretty big hdd... ???

i'm guessing you meant gb.

the normal drives for \apps\ would be e: or f:, however it doesn't matter where xbmc is stored as long as the $home directory is configured within the xboxmediacenter.xml

also as you are using the xecuter2 chip and i'm guessing the xecuter bios then default.xbe that comes with xbmc should be renamed evoxdash.xbe and stored in the root of the c:\ with xboxmediacenter.xml
