i am a newb. i just got my mod chip today and will be installing it tonight. the main thing i want to do is stream video from my server on the lan to the xbox. after i install the mod chip can i just install xbmc or do i need something else 1st. i've been reading a lot about evolutionx dasboard. is this something i should be looking at as well.

another thing, can i play games that have been copied with xbmc or do i need another program? sorry if these ?? sound stupid as i stated i am new to this whole xbox modding thing..

your going to need to flash a bios first to boot xbmc. evolutionx is great dashboard to kept as a backup, in case you can't boot into xbmc or etc. to copy games you will need an app like dvd2xbox.
