xDuke won't play

i've installed xduke and when i launch the game i get a black screen for 30 seconds and then the xbox reboots. has anyone else had this problem? i also can't get doom legacy to work. the main screen appears but nothing happens after that.

any help would be appreciated.

heya funkymonkey,

am having the same problem. after reading some posts in several forums, thought the answer would be that you need to manually include the original duke atomic edition .wad files. did that, still didn't work. so basically i am left with the same question as you, since i would like to get dukex running.
