i don't know if this is a bug or more of a feature suggestion, but here goes..
currently the auto fatx limiter renames files so that it removes excess characters before the file suffix.
for example
my.verylongfilename.movie.with.verylong.title.cd1. avi
becomes
my.verylongfilename.movie.with.verylon.avi
this causes that if a 2cd movie with long filename is being transferred to xbox hd, cd2 overwrites cd1 without any warning.
would it be possible to change this so that the file would be renamed so that the beginning + 8 last characters would be used as the new filename? this would prevent accidental overwriting.
example
my.verylongfilename.movie.with.verylong.title.cd1. avi
would then become
my.verylongfilename.movie.with.ver.cd1.avi
any comments on this?
