sorry if this is in the wrong place or has been asked allready but i searched high and i search low for any info on this and have not come up with anything. my question is this:
is there any way to have a full xbox backup on your pc's harddrive and then stream it over to the xbox and play the game? it would work in the same way that streaming mp3's and video files do....maybe you need a homebrew emulator to do this though??? anyways, if someone could shed some light, much obliged.

hehe.
this topic has been here over and over again.
you can not stream games, as you do videos.
but you can have a automated python script, that downloads the game from pc, and then executes it from a menu.

search for older posts.there are something made in python allready.

you should try popping a new drive into your xbox. it'll give you wagon loads of space for your games and films.
i did it successfully a couple of weeks ago, without a chip mod too, software only ;-)

i used xboxhdm_v1.9, an old pc (with an intel chipset) and an xbox bootable dvd with [-forum-auto-response- team-xbmc do not recommend using slayer] on it. oh and of course, the old hard drive out of my sky+ box.

there is a risk of loosing the box all together, but i managed it, and it's really good, i've got 35gigs of extra space now.

i went on to fix the dishwasher this week, i'm on a roll.
