but everytime i must enter passwords! can i not save those?

multiple ways.. add a bookmark on the form

smb://user:pass@computer/share/

if you have a username setup for the xbox on your computers and want it to try that first before anon, edit your xboxmediacenter.xml and set defaultuser / defalutpassword for samba.
