iTunes 6 password authentication

hey all- searched with no luck. found alot about itunes, but not this question. itunes 6 supports requiring a password. is there anyway to edit the xboxmediacenter.xml file to pass that password? i don't want to share with the world!

i have no problems using smb, but like the playlist features available with itunes.

i assume the lack of response means no one wants to enable the password on itunes, or no one is using itunes.

are there a lot of people using their itunes library and streaming mp3's? or is it just me?

itunes authentication is not supported. and, no you are not the only one using itunes. while itunes is convenient, its support is pretty poor. you're probably better off using something else.

thanks for the reply kraqh3d. i was using smb and queuing that way, but the playlists in itunes is easier (at least for me).
