Execute or RUN py from music and videos

there was a long discussion in the python area about allowing python scripts to be run from any screen not just the sub menu. the point was made that if, for instance, a person wanted to play music they can either select from the 'my music' section or go to the scripts menu and find the appropriate script. it seems that many py scripts are made to act as a gui for streaming music,videos and other media so it makes sense that they should be allowed to execute from thier respective areas. music, streaming and local, should be accessed from the 'my music' menu. this way, for instance, if i want to listen to shoutcast radio i can click on the wonderfull kmlbrowse script from right within my music section and dont have to go wading through various menus to play music, no matter where it is or comes from. the ability to run a py when for instance a video begins playing or even a simple show py scripts anywhere feature would be useful for anyone trying to organize thier system.

i have a terrible time explaining the scripts function to new people, i know they are add on scripts that enhance the functionality of xbmc however, i personally feel it is a pain to have to go to 2 different places in the media center for the same media. example: i want to play internet radio from xbmc. 1 way is to go to the music menu and click on the shoutcast streams button, this gives a complete list of all the shoutcast streams, however they aren't broken down nicely and its hard if you are looking for a particular stream or genre. option 2 is to go to the main menu, click the scripts menu, find the kml streaming script and open that... this option gives the user a beautiful gui with all internet radio streams broken down by catagory and genre. this is the best way to stream in radio however i cant find this music script in my music menu. i know that these scripts are not part of the 'official' xbmc build however adding support for scripts to be run from any menu, not just the scripts and my files menu would be useful for anyone wanting to get thier xbmc more user friendly. again, just the functionality would be great, a user could decide if they wanted a script to be in thier 'my music' just by adding a bookmark to the py file. now before you start saying that xbmc wasnt built for that and it won't work. consider this: xbmc already has the functionality built in to run scripts, it has been 'dumbed down' (for lack of a better word) so that only video codecs will run in videos, only pictures will run in pictures etc... dont you think that adding the functionality of letting a .py run anywhere (since they can do everything from games, to viewing flickr pictures online) would be a natural step. these scripts add funtionality to the already great application. music scripts still play music, video scripts still play video. and if you disagree and think that this would not be a good feature, can you at least tell me why, as opposed to saying that xbmc isnt built that way. it is the natural progression of the media center imo. is it possible to just give xbmc the abilty to run a py when it is bookmarked?
