Controller Plugged In/Unplugged Sound?

hi,

i was just wondering if it's possible in xbmc to have it play a sound when a controller is plugged in or unplugged, much like on windows xp when you plug a device in. is this doable?

something similar to the windows usb windows plugin/plugout would be pretty cool.
