find the enigma video mode switcher... however, you'll need someone to tell you the button presses necessary to switch back to ntsc since you'll be driving it blind. try asking at forums.xbox-scene.com

borrow a small tv that can handle ntsc? or buy one.

where i come from, if you put an ntsc signal into a pal tv it simple displays in black and white - so you would still be able to change it back.

maybe your tv can't handle the difference in refresh rate.

you guys in europe have it easy. most of your tv sets handle both pal and nstc. the lowsy tv sets sold in the usa are crippled so they cant display pal signals (even tho they are likely exactly the same inside as the sets you guys have). all we get is a black and white, rolling image.
