i am trying to change the icon for my smb shares in my videos. in the section i have tv shows and movies. i want the tv to show a hdtv and movies i want a dvd disc. i tryed putting folder.jpg in the share but that didnt work. do i need to change something else?

at this time it is impossible to change the icon of a bookmark

it most definetly is not impossible.
add something like this to your xboxmediacenter.xml file:
<thumbnail>f:\movies\folder.jpg</thumbnail>
it does work as it is currently working fone for me..
try delete the programs database and rebooting
