official documentation can be found here (link) (http://cvs.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.py/*checkout*/xbmc/xbmc/skinning.txt?content-type=text%2fplain&rev=1.3) but i suggest that you also take a look at the existing skins and their xml files
hi,
i am trying to find info / tutorial on skinning.
it seems that the skinning.txt located on sourceforge is not finished or has been cut before the end
i am particualrily trying to understand how the following items work :
- spincontrol *used to show a spin (up/down) control
- listcontrol * used to show a list control
- thumnailpanel used to show a panel of thumbnails
thanks for your help
ludo
i think your best bet may be to take a look at existing skins.
that is the best way to learn imo.
