hey all - anyone know what's up with the kml webradio script? i'm getting a "failed to download xml document" error when connecting to:

yep - hit "cancel" and it just keeps looping.

i guess maybe the url changed and the script will need to be updated. i can't really dig into it right now but i can later and will post if i find anything out.

would appreciate if anyone posts suggestions or workarounds - the kids (4 and 2) are missing xmas tunes + milkdrop, they love it!

yep...same for me. posted at xxxx-scene.xxx but that place is just getting worse and worse for help or responses. i figured this would be the better place to get the info on it.

it's the most awesome script. i just love it for my trance music and recordings. hope it's back up soon.

hey juan - for a temp fix just use the simplekml script. close to webradio and will get your holiday music back. i just don't like it because of the way you need to search for the type genre music you want. not as organized.

ok - now i'm confused. simplekml is the script i'm talking about that's not working. looks something like this (when functioning)...

edit: ok - my bad. i think i just found simplekml.py - it's odd, a search on xbmcscripts.com for "simplekml" returns the webradio kmlbrowse.py script.

simplekml.py uses a different url though (http://www.onlinestreams.nl/kml.php) and substituting it into kmlbrowse.py gives the older format you were talking about.

the server (thiers) is having issues. the url hasnt changed just the database information on thier end so hold your water and it should work itself out.

this and cnn news is not working for me either. i hope it goes back up soon because i can't make it without "80s grooves", hehe.

the main page loads fine now but none of the radio channels seem to work. cnn also works.

the problem is that the mysql database is broke @ webradio.kiss-technology.com

copy past for example this stream in your browser:
http://webradio.kiss-technology.com/webradi....ry=1330 (http://webradio.kiss-technology.com/webradio2/kml/playradio.php?radio=1144923&offset=0&category=1330)

and you get this:
mysql error - invalid query : can't open file: 'radioactivity.myd'. (errno: 144)!

so its waiting for
- they make their database
or
- kmlbrowse update the script with a new xml target file
or
- i make my own webradio script ;)
