Hi-Def on PAL Xbox with XBMC?

i have a modded pal uk xbox. in both evox and xbmc i do not see the gui's in hi res, they are both still at 720. i have the official ms hi def pack connected and the various hi def resolutions enabled in evox.

my question is how do i enable 420 for games and higher resolutions for xbmc and movies? is it automatic? or is there an option i need to tweak? i ask this because everything on my 32 lcd just does not look hi def in any way, it's very blocky.

u might know this, but the xbox only supports hd in ntsc mode. so u need to use e.g. enigmah to switch setting in the eeprom.
