Audio Levels Very Low

hello,

audio levels on all aspects of xbmc (mucic, video,
menu navigation sounds) are about 10% of what they
used to be on my xbox. all other software, including
xbmp that i still have installed, is working fine.

i'm not sure what triggered the change. the only
thing i did lately was sign up for xbox live. i know
this updated the microsoft xbe and a bunch of other
files.

my system uses only the digit output for sound. my
amp has a dolby digital 5.1 and dts decoder.

this happened with the 2005-09-27 build (this build
was working fine) and i've tried installing the 2005-
11-21 build with no luck.

i added this on sourceforge btw.

any ideas would be appreciated.

i assume you know you can alter the volume level in xbmc?

i didn't know. i had been using the remote exclusively until a few weeks ago (my kid was playing games too much). i looked around in the app for a volume... i just never rtfm. i deleted the case on sourceforge.
