View Full Version : fatx limiter in 'my files'
i'd like to see an option to enable/disable the fatx limiter in the normal 'my files' mode (so not ftp mode)
because when i'm copying files from a cd, which are not fatx compatible, to the harddisk it will fail.
seems pretty easy, cause this function is already there in ftp mode.
 any 'developer' reaction?
i can't see the problem.
it's always used when opening files on disc, and i recently added it to the directory handling as well.
and it's enabled/disabled by the ftp fatx setting?
yes. and yes, i know i should consider the setting name :)
tested it and it worked!
i've tested this about two weeks ago and at that time it didn't work...
is this 'new' feature in the changelog known as "- 22-10-2005 fixed: fatx limiter is now applied to directory names as well - thanks to soepy." ?
because you also mentioned "added it to the directory handling as well", but i would never have guessed with that description that it would be this feature (fatx in 'my files').
but hey, it's working! thnx
hey! are you criticising my changelog entries! i put a lot of work into formulating those sentences! !!!
glad it's working :)
oh, mind the sarcasm ;)
hey, what a coincidence; i was just thinking about starting a thread over the quality of the changelog!
