hi,

i was wondering if in the "my programs" section of xbmc it would be possible to have a directory that would display all the dvd-games in my collection as titles and thumbnails, just as it does with the local games on the drive, and when clicking on either it would eject the dvd tray so i can insert the corresponding cd of the game, is this possible?
i guess i would have to have a bookmark name for each game with an eject tray function associated with it, i could then add png images for each bookmark...

i'm not sure if it's possible but i would appreciate any advice.

what's the point of that when you can just put the game in and play? personally i'd be rather annoyed not knowing which games i had on the box and which games i had on disc so playing a guessing game everytime i decide to play something. if it's not a guessing game then i really don't see the point because if you know what games you have and where then you don't need this anyway.

as a workaround just get ejecttray.xbe/eject.xbe and rename it to default.xbe then place a copy each of it in a folder with the name of the game and point xbmc to look for that, ex:

e:\dvd-games\game1\default.xbe
e:\dvd-games\game2\default.xbe
e:\dvd-games\game3\default.xbe
e:\dvd-games\game4\default.xbe
e:\dvd-games\game5\default.xbe
e:\dvd-games\game6\default.xbe

(where "game#" is the name of the game limited to 42 characters and "default.xbe" is just a copy of ejecttray.xbe/eject.xbe), download ejecttray.xbe/eject.xbe from the usual places
