so got media center running, i have the ms hd av component cables.. and i also have some generic component cables.
anyway if i go into settings it says ntsc 16:9 widescreen.. i have availble from the selection. 720p, 480p, 1080i, and auto.. if i change to any of those settings my screen goes black and i think it crashes. *my tv is a sony 57" widescreen and it supports all those resolutions (i play regular xbox games on my other xbox all the time on it in those res's)
my tv supports all those resolutions and i set all those settings to on in my ms dashboard.
any idea why its crashing?
here is part of my log file. (it wont let me post the whole thign its complainng about to many emote icons? wtf)

edit: hmm well it works now and i have no clue why.. i rebooted a couple times and all of a sudden it started working.
