what i would like to see is a konfabulator widget that acts like the web page located \xbmc\web\

if you have the web server enabled in xbmc and you go into internet explorer and go to http://<xbox ip> then it will bring up a control center for your xbox, but i want the same functionality as this but in a konfabulator widget. where there is a play, pause, next, previous, create playlists, and shutdown the xbox, all in a cool looking widget. the source code to the page should be located in \xbmc-cvs_2005-08-07-t3ch\xbmc\web.
just use the web page or the app from nad called xbmccontrol (files here (http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=87054))
hehe konfabulator sounded like a fake name but i googled it. konfabulator is basically like object desktop or the dashboard in osx where you can make these widgets on the desktop to monitor or control things.
for someone with experience in these things it would be very easy since the interface is all http. you would be more lucky getting someone from their boards to help you though.

@davidmjohnson: affini is right, i would suggest you take a look at nad's xbmccontrol, the windows client needs a little polish but it works very well indeed.
