How to install

ive read the faq and the guide for this version of xbmc and call me stupid, i don't understand how to get this thing going.
i can ftp the files in the package i downloaded (download to what directory c,e,f ?) to my xbox.it says in the guide to edit the config xml doc and i don't even see a config xml doc.
i have 3 folders(xbmc-2004-02-01, scripts,python) 3 text docs(key mapping,skinning,bugs) and a xbmc sfv file.

inside the xbmc-2004-02-01 folder there is a xboxmediacenter
xml doc.do i edit this file? some help would be appreciated. i'm totally new to this.

look inside the xbmc-2004-02-01 folder. there should be some folders, default.xbe, xboxmediacenter.xml and some other files. ftp the entire xbmc-2004-02-01 folder to the e:/apps or f:/apps on your xbox depending on which one your xbox normally uses for apps. reboot your xbox and the xbox media center should show up in your apps list.
p.s. it's the xboxmediacenter.xml that you have to edit to make changes to connect to shares on your pc, etc.

i figured out how to do it before i came back and checked the forum and my next hurdle will be setting up some shares.
