is it possible to send commands to a pc from xbmc? for instance, can i send a command to launch the xlink kai engine on my pc? or perhaps send a command to close a program that is running on my pc?

it's possible via a python script. of course, you'd need some custom server listening on your pc that accepts these commands.

search for 'wake on lan' in the python scripts development forum.....that should help you enough :)

or you could also try searching for it on the xbmcscripts.com (http://www.xbmcscripts.com) site...........and if you still have problems finding the script....
