Testing python scripts on windows first?

hi, im trying to delevop some small applications in phyton for xbmc, but does exists any way or program that i can first try on windows and then upload to the xbox?

i do suggest using the search feature of the forum... it does work well. actually, google would have give you the reults you wanted too.
